Solstice Scents is proud to offer gardenia essence from our homegrown pesticide-free gardenia flowers.  Only a limited quantity of .25 ml premium perfume samples will be available.  See diagram below for fill level.  Three different gardenia varieties (Gardenia jasminoides, Gardenia brighamii and Gardenia radicans) were used to create this 100% natural essence. Utilizing the principles of the centuries-old practice of enfleurage, we developed a unique technique to capture the fragrance of creamy white gardenia flowers in full bloom.

Enfleurage requires thousands upon thousands of gardenia petals to be infused in fat (vegetable source). Each tray takes multiple infusions and the petals must be replaced frequently. It is a very laborious process and this first step mandates a minimum of 6 weeks of dedication during the gardenia blooming season, which occurs mid-April to the beginning of June. The flowers are hand-harvested each morning for maximum potency. The premium samples offered on this listing are from our 2012 batch of flowers. We are currently working on enfleuraging the gardenias that are now blooming and the 2013 batch will be available in the future.

            

 Due to the amount of time, effort and dedication required in this process, enfleurage is rarely practiced today. Processing thousands of petals only yields a very small amount of precious absolute, making it impractical for the commercial market. It is a true labor of love. Solstice Scents is one of only a few companies in the world to offer this rare fragrance. 

This highly concentrated perfume is milky white in color and presented in perfumer's alcohol. You'll experience a strong burst of gardenia on initial application. The aroma of the gardenia flower is unable to be extracted through the process of steam distillation meaning that there is no such thing as gardenia essential oil. In the rare instances gardenia is offered in the marketplace, it is a solvent extracted absolute or concrete that does not capture the true aroma of the flower. The solvent extraction process degrades the delicate fragrance and yields a product that does resemble a gardenia aroma with much heavier green notes but is nowhere near as realistic as the gardenia aroma produced via enfleurage. Our process captures the character of the flower as closely as possible, exuding the sweetness of the velvety white petals with a very delicate and subtle green note.

This perfume is for natural essence enthusiasts who have wished for a true-smelling gardenia fragrance. It does not have the longevity and sillage of its synthetic counterparts and after 15 to 30 minutes its profile tends to hug closer to the skin. Most people should experience 2+ hours of wear when following these steps:

1. This sample yields several uses. Settling will occur. Shake vial before application.

2. Apply liberally to posterior of arm/wrist, as opposed to pulse point of wrist, for maximum longevity.

3. Application to skin directly from vial is more effective than multiple swipes of wand applicator and will give you a stronger, longer lasting fragrance.  Applying directly to the spot of choice and gently rubbing into skin with finger is highly recommended instead of applying to a spot and rubbing wrists/arms together. This method allows for the gardenia essence to be highly concentrated in one spot and it will last much longer with this application technique.

This fragrance may solidify in very very cold temperatures. Should this occur, you may hold the vial vertically in a hot water bath for approximately 5 to 6 seconds and perfume will liquify quickly. Make sure water does not come near cap or get into the vial.  You may also wish to liquify your essence when you have used most of it up so that you can capture any of the remaining floral wax that clings to the side of the glass.  An image of the room temperature versus liquified essence has been added to the listing for reference.  It is NOT necessary or recommended to liquify your essence for every use.

SHAKE BEFORE EACH USE AS PRODUCT WILL SETTLE.

Midnight Oil was originally offered as a scrub in our autumn collection. I have formulated this scent to be enjoyed as a perfume. It is solely comprised of essential oils and absolutes. It is a deep, earthy, rich and citrusy fragrance. The cocoa, patchouli and mushroom absolute provide a dark, dank base for the bright blood orange and mandarin essential oils. A touch of labdanum adds a subtle sticky resinous quality to the scent. The cocoa and chocolatey-earthy smelling mushroom absolute combine with the orange to lend this scent a strong gourmand quality while the aged patchouli adds a deep musky and sooty character. The coffee EO in this blend is very subtle and works to add to the rich base.

The blood orange and mandarin oils give a citrusy burst to the initial application. The citrus is prominent for about 20 minutes or so. The dry down is dark, earthy and sweet with a slight hint of citrus. This fragrance contains a very small amount of tonka bean absolute as a fixative.

Midnight Oil is blended in perfumer's alcohol. Please shake gently before each use as the cocoa absolute will settle to the bottom. A few shakes will quickly and easily disperse the scent evenly. Unisex.

Cocoa absolute may stain lighter colored clothing and skin. When applying perfume, rub perfume in quickly as it is easier to work into skin with less chance of staining.

I'm obsessed with this scent. It is so unique and avant garde and I'm thrilled with how it came out. I'm not putting all of this on the listing but wanted to mention it here.

A mix of vices: dark chocolate, black coffee and cigarettes wrapped in a worn leather bomber jacket and staked out in a tan '72 Buick Skylark on a humid night. Radio static white noise crackling through the speakers, cigarette ashes on the car door. Later: a dark office. Neon lights cut sharply through the shadows. The hot bulb of the film projector heats up. Rotating reels emanate the familiar smell of warm celluloid and dust motes, flying just inches away from the lens.

Private Eye is a raw, gritty and unusual fragrance that radiates atmosphere and mystery. This inspired scent is spicy, earthy, sweet and slightly smoky with the faintest trace of leather. An all natural blend of resinous myrrh, rich cacao, effervescent pink pepper, black pepper, tobacco absolute, coffee essential oil, choya loban, guaiacwood, tonka bean, aged patchouli, rosewood and the woody, candied clove-like scent of buddha wood essential oil, Private Eye seeks to take you on a suspenseful journey full of mystery, into a dark and tangled world of unraveling secrets.

This is a very complex scent. Multiple notes arise on initial application: a blast of pink and black peppers, chocolate and coffee are followed quickly by heavy, resinous myrrh. Immediately thereafter the bright rosewood emerges, hovering above a gloriously smooth worn leather and smoke blend. After a few minutes you can still pick out several of these notes but the spicy buddha wood begins to edge up next to the rosewood. After this stage, the blend will develop a slightly sweeter profile while still remaining dark and complex. The spicy notes remain throughout the life of the perfume and are dominant, particularly the buddha wood. After it has been on for a while the tonka bean will begin to add a soft creamy caramelic note. Private Eye has incredible staying power. Unisex.

Cocoa absolute may stain lighter colored clothing and skin. When applying perfume, rub perfume in quickly as it is easier to work into skin with less chance of staining.

Private Eye contains spice oils. A slight warming sensation may be present on initial application for individuals with sensitive skin. This should not cause any great discomfort or be a lasting sensation.

VANILLA PIPE TOBACCO PREMIUM 5 ml FRAGRANCE (in Rice Bran carrier oil)
Vanilla, Tobacco Absolute, Tonka Bean Absolute & Sweet Clover Absolute

SHAKE BEFORE EACH USE FOR BEST RESULTS

Vanilla Pipe Tobacco has been completely reformulated from its original incarnation while preserving a general similarity and using several of the same notes. It is offered in a rice bran carrier oil in lieu of perfumer's alcohol. This blend contains vanilla fragrance oil, tobacco absolute, tonka bean absolute and sweet clover absolute. It is a much lighter. smoother and sweeter blend with tamer tobacco notes.

On cold sniff and initial application, a sweet, dry tobacco note blooms on top of a beautiful vanilla base. The divine vanilla becomes stronger the longer this perfume is on the skin. The coumarin hay-like note of sweet clover absolute paired with warm tonka bean adds a dimension to this scent that makes it smell exactly like a sack of moist fresh vanilla flavored pipe tobacco. It is truly exquisite and a must try for anyone looking for a realistic and wearable pipe tobacco fragrance (unlit, not smoky).

The longer Vanilla Pipe Tobacco wears on the skin, the sweeter it becomes. VPT has good tenacity but hugs closer to the skin. It is a very pleasing authentic scent that is amazing worn alone or for layering. Unisex.

You may notice small black flecks suspended in this blend.  These are simply small bits of tonka and sweet clover absolutes and nothing to be concerned about.  

The return of:

CONJURE (!)
A Magical Blend of Vanilla, Amber, Cedar, Spices & Cauldron Smoke

This scent has been reformulated from the original version. It is very similar, especially on the dry down, but it is a little smoother and slightly softer. One of the primary oils in this blend was discontinued by a supplier so I have modified it to contain many of the original oils along with a few additional notes.

Conjure is a very soft and magical incensey blend consisting of 16 fragrance and essential oils including several mild non-foody vanillas, golden amber, labdanum absolute and warm cedar with a faint wisp of cauldron smoke, allspice EO, Sandalwood EO and FO, Moroccan Rose EO, guaiacwood, agarwood and several other special supporting notes. It is very sexy, mysterious and intriguing. Unisex.

Most of you already know this but, this oil has been reformulated from the original blend as of 2013. It smells very close to the original, almost identical.

Pharaoh is a fragrance comprised primarily of the long-established, popular and neutral scent of Egyptian Musk spiked with just a few drops of Frankincense Essential Oil and a splash of honey far in the background. It is a beautiful, very soft fragrance that is perfect for wearing when you're looking for something understated and muted but would like to smell clean. It is a truly wonderful unisex fragrance that has a slight tinge of the exotic and is clean, fresh, mild, natural and has just the slightest hint of a floral. The honey is a very mild natural honey and does not contain the almond notes that other honey blends have. A great neutral scent to have in your collection.

SPRING COLLECTION 2013 This Friday 4/5 at 6 p.m. EST

Below is the sneak peak of the Spring Collection for you guys. I'll most likely post this information publicly tomorrow night (newsletter, blog, etc.). For now, this is for your eyes only. We are focusing primarily on returning fragrances from previous years' collections, including several of the new scents that were offered for 2012 and one new perfume oil called Blossom Jam Tea Cakes.

An expanded Lavender Vanilla line will feature never before offered products in this scent, as well as a restock of ganache. (More details below). Also new for this year is Dellamorte in Burnishing Glace format. The Alpha & Beta Hydroxy Fruit & Cream Masque will be available again! This masque has been offered only one time before and we thought it would be perfect to offer to perk up dull winter skin and put your best face forward for spring (description of this masque at the very bottom of the page).

I'd also like to mention that another small release with a few "darker" scents that don't have a thing to do with spring will come out about 3 weeks after all of the spring goodies have shipped. There is one very very special item we are finishing testing now that I am praying will also be ready for release at that time. But mums the word until I am 100% confident in said item. *whistles*

Southern Tea Cakes, Petit Fours, Floral Infused Jams & Preserves and a Delicate Aroma of Tea
 
Blossom Jam Tea Cakes features the mouthwatering aromas of Petit Fours filled with floral infused jams and preserves, enrobed in sweet fondant, warm southern tea cakes topped with a delicate lavender buttercream and a subtle waft of hot tea. A rich cakey base supports light floral and fruit notes to create a beautiful atmospheric spring gourmand fragrance.

Notes include: yellow and white cake, honeysuckle absolute, palmarosa EO, peach, strawberry, blood orange EO, lavender absolute, ylang ylang absolute, buttercream, fondant. The floral notes listed may give the impression that this is a heady floral but it's not. Rather, the floral notes were used with restraint and were intended to infuse the delicate fruit notes to create an interpretation of floral jams and preserves thinly spread on fluffy cakes. A very unique fragrance that should please fans of scents like Rose Mallow Cream, Chantilly Cream and the Manor Collection's Kitchen fragrance.

CHIFFON

DO NOT APPLY IMMEDIATELY AFTER A HOT SHOWER OR NEAR CUTS OR BROKEN SKIN AS LIKE LEMON JUICE, LEMON MYRTLE MAY STING!

Chiffon is a dual concept fragrance that brings together the airy, sweet and refreshingly tart taste of Lemon Chiffon pie and the elegant, wispy and equally airy beauty of chiffon fabric. A very special top-shelf, perfectly sweet and non-cloying vanilla (one of the vanillas in Nightgown) provides a base for a delicate touch of white amber and white musk. Chiffon is completed with the bright and uplifting scent of pure lemon myrtle essential oil. The lemon myrtle is one of the dominant notes on cold sniff and initial application. It will recede within 5 to 10 minutes and allow the other notes to emerge. Unlike most lemon essential oil top notes that disappear fairly quickly, lemon myrtle EO has a strong lemon-like scent but also a very good staying power. Lemon Myrtle is distilled from the leaves of a native Australian Tree. As it fades and takes a back seat to the other notes a wonderful, sweet, ethereal and beautiful long-lasting scent is left behind. The longer Chiffon is on the skin, the sweeter it gets. The vanilla is the longest lasting note of the blend and takes on a glorious whipped cream and an almost marshmallow note the longer it is on the skin. A really lovely and sophisticated scent! Fans of some of our other scents like Nightgown, Snowshoe Pass, Rose Mallow Cream and Manor should really enjoy Chiffon.

While Chiffon is overall a scent that smells light and airy like clouds, it also is pretty strong and seems to grow stronger the longer it is on the skin so apply a modest amount on your first try and let it sit for about 45 minutes to gauge how much you will need for future applications.

Do not apply Chiffon Glace after a hot shower and avoid spraying on or near cuts, rashes, wounds or broken skin as the lemon myrtle will sting. If you have sensitive skin you may wish to use Chiffon Glace as a Body Oil only and avoid using it in the bathtub as a Bath Oil.

Perfume, Burnishing Glace

CHANTILLY CREAM
WHIPPED CREAM, VANILLA, PEACH NECTAR & YELLOW MANDARIN EO

Our Chantilly Cream is white fluffy whipped cream sweetened with vanilla and just a touch of peach nectar. A light addition of lovely yellow mandarin essential oil tempers the juicy peach note. The primary notes in this blend are the whipped cream and a blend of vanillas and they are also the longest lasting. The peach nectar and yellow mandarin are more detectable in the cold sniff of the blend and are very subtle on the skin and add a juicy touch to the more dominant scent of the whipped cream accord. This fragrance is best judged not on cold sniff or immediately after application but after about 5 to 7 minutes of morphing before its true scent is revealed. It will become sweeter the longer it wears and the fruit notes will eventually recede completely.

Chantilly Cream has a profile that is very light, sweet and delicate. It hugs very close to the skin and is intended for a gentle skin sweetening treat when you wish to wear something a little lighter and less heady near those sensitive to fragrance, in the work environment or just because you want to indulge in something a little softer in scent and throw. It is a versatile scent that would pair and layer wonderfully with fragrances in your collection that contain notes of coconut, cake, fruit, vanilla or even select floral scents (white florals such as jasmine, tuberose and lily especially). It layers nicely with Chiffon too!

Perfume, Burnishing Glace

CASCADE OF GOLD PREMIUM FRAGRANCE 5ml
Sandalwood, White Sandalwood, Honeysuckle, Champa & White Lotus - 5ml

NOT TO BE USED BY WOMEN WHO ARE PREGNANT OR NURSING.

NOTE ON THE 5ML PERFUME BOTTLES: This perfume will be offered in the clear 5 ml bottles (like Rose Mallow Cream is in) as we are unable to get the blue ones at this time. The roller ball occasionally needs to be coaxed a little more to encourage the fragrance out. You may do this be removing cap, gently holding your bottle upside down (with bottom pointing toward ceiling and ball toward ground) and giving the bottle a good hard shake or two. Roll the ball across your skin and if perfume is not free-flowing, repeat this process.

(Shake bottle well before each use. One of my top faves.) Cascade of Gold is an utterly amazing, 100% natural and exquisite blend of essential oils, absolutes and Indian attars blended in our rice bran carrier oil. Notes of sandalwood, white sandalwood, honeysuckle, champa and white lotus combine to form a divine and meditative scent that is also very sensual. Cascade of Gold has a base of exotic incensey woods with a very strong amber note that has subtle balsamic undertones. The floral notes are delicately blended so as to add just the right exotic touch to the warm wood and amber notes. It smells like bottled sunset with the last of the days' golden orange rays peeking out mixed with humid deep south air that has been perfumed by a concentration of mid spring blooms. You can almost literally feel a warmth radiating from your skin with this scent on. The champa is the finest quality I've found and it contributes a delicate edge of spice to the blend as well. The florals serenely float at the top of the blend adding a velvety white note for the first 10 minutes. Their voice becomes softer and evolves to a relatively stable blend without morphing that smells warm, sweet, ambery, golden, robust, full bodied, exotic, floral and extremely sexy. Cascade of Gold would make a wonderful blend for yoga, meditation, scrying or just before bed as it has a natural harmony and almost trance inducing properties.

LAVENDER VANILLA
Lavender Essential Oil, Lavender Absolute & Sweet Creamy Vanilla

This fragrance takes the wonderful calming fragrance of Lavender Essential Oil and a touch of Lavender absolute and pairs it with sweet creamy vanilla and smooth French Vanilla for the Solstice Scents' take on this ever popular combination. A relaxing and smooth blend for those who like their Lavender Essential Oil tempered by a sweet partner. The lavender essential oil starts out powerfully, then descends into the background as the creamy vanilla emerges. After some time on the skin, the vanilla takes center stage as the primary and lasting note, enhanced by a ghostly memory of lavender.

The perfume is a part of the General Catalog but Lavender Vanilla Ganache will be restocked and the following products will be available for the first time ever: Burnishing Glace, Whipped Soap and Salts. Salts topped with dried lavender buds.

SPIRIT TREE
Delicate White Flowers, Soft Vanilla & Sandalwood

Spirit Trees, more commonly known as Bottle Trees, are believed to be able to capture evil spirits and are commonly placed outside of the home in an effort to dissuade the evil spirits from entering the home. They're commonly thought to originate in Africa but similar lore has been found in other countries around the world. The Carolina Wren is the inspiration behind this bright spring scent. A small brown bird with a beautiful white stripe above each eye and light yellow markings on the chest and belly, the Carolina Wren only measures up to 6 inches in adulthood. Wrens are common residents in our home garden and they have the most beautiful song. They are monogamous, inquisitive, playful and frequently nest in garages and hanging plants. The wren is frequently found on our windowsills and can be seen darting around in the jasmine outside of the Solstice Scents workshop. They have no trouble cohabiting near humans and are wonderful companion birds that bring joy to any garden.

Wren is made with essential oils of petitgrain, African bluegrass, michelia alba, ylang ylang extra and a small touch of sandalwood and Virginia cedarwood. 100% pure essential oil blend. The fragrance is primarily tart, citrusy, herbaceous and slightly woodsy petitgrain. It is VERY strong on cold sniff but is much more gentle and nuanced in the tub. Petitgrain oil is extracted from the leaves or branches of the orange tree but smells quite different from orange essential oil. It smells closer to the scent profile of neroli. It has a bright and uplifting aroma and if it were a color, it would be the color of a Wren. Petitgrain is indicated for stress related conditions and insomnia. The other essential oils in the blend are mild and add depth. African bluegrass has an amazing grassy scent, michelia alba is a tangy floral with a green note. Topped with shredded aspen and moss.

DEVIL'S MILLHOPPER
Heather, Oakmoss, Fern & Delicate Wood Notes

Devil's Millhopper is a unique geological formation that is 120 ft. deep and 500 ft. across at the rim. It has over 230 steps descending into its heart. The sinkhole's name comes from its funnel-like shape which resembles a grist mill's hopper in which grain was held. Early settlers found fossilized animal remains and shark's teeth at the bottom and along the craggy walls leading them to believe that this was the place where bodies were fed to the Devil. Devil's Millhopper has a lush primitive environment with fern, moss, lichen, rare plants and a variety of trees. There are several small caves and waterfalls which flow into the basin below. The water then travels to an underground river which leads to the Florida aquifer.
This scent contains notes of heather, oakmoss and an assortment of woods used to interpret the atmosphere of Devil's Millhopper. On cold sniff it smells of fern, new spring leaves, moss and grass with heather and soft woods lurking just below. On initial application, the green top notes quickly subside and the fresh cool-toned floral note of heather and delicate woods emerge. Dry down is soft, fresh and hugs close to the skin. A very unisex scent.

DELLAMORTE
Oak, White Carnation, Oakmoss, Egyptian Musk & Vanilla

White carnations placed upon winter's tomb, sheltered in an oak hammock in which the first signs of spring's new growth has begun to emerge.

A complex blend of fragrance and essential oils, Dellamorte features dominant notes of oak and white carnation with supporting notes of sandalwood, oakmoss, Egyptian musk, vanilla, hyacinth and a small amount of violet absolute, vetiver and bergamot. On initial application, Dellamorte starts out with a bright burst of fresh green notes, dew kissed carnations, delicate creamy woods and a sweet element from the Egyptian musk and vanilla combination. It stays relatively strong for about 15 minutes then smooths out into a sweet, woodsy and velvety scent with the carnation still present, though more gentle, with a subtle green note and a tiny hint of spice.

BANANA NUT BREAD

Mouthwatering, warm, comforting banana nut bread loaded with chopped Southern pecans and a subtle spice. This scent smells absolutely delicious and will have you salivating! Rum like boozy note present in jar. In use, this scent is warmer, sweeter and less boozy.

APPLE MALLOW

Crisp green apple combined with sweet gooey marshmallows. Apple Mallow is primarily a fresh apple scent highlighted by a delightful mallow note. The marshmallow note adds a creamy element which helps round out the sharp, tart, green note of the ripe green apple. Very refreshing!

Whipped Soap, Sugared Amber Whipped Cleansing Scrub, Salts & Home Fragrance Oil! (I'm not satisfied with this scent's performance in leave-on products like perfume and glace. I'm sorry to disappont anyone! It is lovely in wash-off products and Home Fragrance though. )

ALPHA & BETA HYDROXY FRUIT & CREAM MASQUE
A Blend of Hydroxy-Rich Fruits and Coconut Milk 4 oz.

NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE PRIOR TO PROLONGED SUN EXPOSURE AS HYDROXYS INCREASE SUN SENSITIVITY. SUNSCREEN IS RECOMMENDED WHEN USING THIS PRODUCT.

The Fruit & Cream Masque is intended to be used as a once a week or bi-weekly skin reviver in conjunction with your other skin care routine items. Hydroxy-rich fruits such as strawberry, moisturizing banana, pomegranate, mango, pumpkin and orange peel are combined with creamy coconut milk. Hydroxys are believed to help loosen dead skin cells, encourage new cell growth, soften skin and improve tone. They may assist in softening scars and the natural salicylic acid in fruits like strawberries may assist those with blemish prone skin. Beta hydroxy is oil soluble which means that it can penetrate into the skin better than the water soluble alpha hydroxy acids. They can be especially helpful for cleansing clogged pores and removing blackheads as well.

This product is not Vegan. It coconut powder contains a milk protein called casein.

We are releasing the Valentine's 2013 Collection this Saturday, February 2nd at 6 p.m. EST.  There are two new fragrances as well as a few returns.  Several General Catalog items will also be restocked.  

NEW SCENTS:

VIOLET MALLOW
Marshmallow Cream, Violet Flowers, Vanilla Bean, White Musk.

Violet Mallow smells like sweet, creamy, slightly powdery and fresh violets. It is a timeless, classic and elegant scent. Sophisticated, yet soft and wearable with a vintage flair. This fragrance starts out with a stronger violet note upon initial application, though the sweet creamy marshmallow is there to soften it from being too dominant. The dry down is very fluffy and comforting and the violet does remain in the background through most of the wear, though in a subdued fashion. The vanilla and white musk are very very subtle and far in the background. It has a similar "white" scent to that of Snowshoe Pass without the full bodied white musk that is in that blend. The white musk is used sparingly in Violet Mallow so what you will smell is primarily the violet paired with decadent marshmallow cream.  A very pretty and romantic fragrance!

Perfume, Body Ganache, Dead Sea Salt Oatmeal Milk Bath, Burnishing Glace

ROSE MALLOW CREAM PREMIUM 5 ml PERFUME
Moroccan Rose absolute, Bulgarian Rose absolute, Marshmallow Fluff, Strawberry Nectar, White Chocolate, Vanilla, White Musk.

This fragrance smells like candied rose petals! On initial application, the rose and strawberry notes are apparent though well wrapped in a healthy dose of marshmallow goo. This is sweet, sexy candy.   Only natural rose absolute is used in this blend, no synthetic rose notes.  The rose is apparent for approximately an hour but this scent gets sweeter and leans more toward the marshmallow and white chocolate with a delicate hint of white musk the longer it wears.  Though this fragrance is highly concentrated, Rose Mallow Cream dries down to a sensual sweet scent that hugs closer to the skin and does not have strong sillage.  You may find that its soft and sweet dry down is a good option for work places that don't allow strong scents.  Liberal application is recommended for best results.  Rose Mallow Cream is a wonderful personal scent for you or a very close partner looking for a little rose-mance...

Premium 5 ml perfume only. We can no longer purchase the blue 5 ml roll on bottles so the premium line will be offered in clear bottles until further notice.  Samples of this perfume will be available for sale as well but please remember, the Premium Perfume samples are filled 1/4 of the way up and not a full vial.

Not a new scent but a new product! Nightgown is one of our most popular scents. It was originally offered in the 2012 V-Day collection and ended up as part of our rotating general catalog due to its popularity.

 Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, Maraschino Cherries & Black Cherry. Contains Cocoa Absolute.

A medly of black cherries and maraschino cherries enrobed in milk and dark chocolate. Two different kinds of cocoa absolute are added to this blend to enhance the rich chocolate note. The blend starts out with a heavier cherry note but quickly settles down into a very nice gourmand blend of both chocolate and cherry. Juicy, sweet and edible smelling!

SMOKY MOUNTAIN MALLOW

Wood Smoke, Fossilized Amber Resin, Lapsang Souchong CO2, Guaiacwood, Labdanum, Nutmeg EO, Marshmallow

A sweet and smoky scent reminiscent of the smell of chimney smoke in the cold winter air and the comforting aroma of the fireside.  There are layers to the smoke accord created in this scent.  It is rich and warm and smells of campfire smoke that clings to your clothes and burning woods with a hint of soot, char, ashes and glowing embers all at once.  The sweet marshmallow adds a creaminess that rounds out the strong smoky profile.  Lapsang Souchong C02 (smoked tea), precious fossilized amber resin, sweet guaiacwood, golden resinous labdanum, wood smoke, fluffy marshmallows and a touch of nutmeg essential oil combine to provide an extremely atmospheric and delectable experience. 

Initial application of this scent is very smoky, akin to burning wood and campfire smoke with a little sweetness underneath and a whiff of nutmeg essential oil.  After a few minutes the smoke softens and the moderate sillage will gently waft around you through the length of its wear, smelling like a distant fire on the wind.  The marshmallow does become stronger, sweeter and more apparent the longer this wears on the skin.   Smoky Mountain Mallow will take you on an amazing scent journey!

PHARAOH

Egyptian Musk, Honey & Frankincense Essential Oil
This oil has been reformulated from the original blend as of 2013.  It smells very close to the original, almost identical.  Pharaoh is a fragrance comprised primarily of the long-established, popular and neutral scent of Egyptian Musk spiked with just a few drops of Frankincense Essential Oil and a splash of honey far in the background. It is a beautiful, very soft fragrance that is perfect for wearing when you're looking for something understated and muted but would like to smell clean. It is a truly wonderful unisex fragrance that has a slight tinge of the exotic and is clean, fresh, mild, natural and has just the slightest hint of a floral. The frankincense is very soft and detectable solely upon application.  After that, it takes a back seat and really is more of a note adding depth rather than one standing as identifiable. The honey is a very mild natural honey and does not contain the almond notes that other honey blends have.

GHOST
Burnishing Glace - Bath Oil and Sprayable Body Mist With Argan Oil - 4oz.
Ghost is the Fragrance-Free version of our Burnishing Glace.  It contains a greater quantity of oils from the original recipe to offer a more moisturizing experience than its scented counterparts, which are primarily fragranced body mists that offer minimal moisture unless used in the bath.  Ghost is not greasy, sprays easily on to skin and soaks in readily.  If you wish to lightly moisturize an area, mist once or twice, rub into skin and allow a minute for glace to soak in.  For more intense moisture, repeat this process.  Do not over-saturate your skin initially as it will take longer to soak in.  Leaves skin soft, supple and with a subtle dewy sheen.  Not to be used on face.  Shake gently before each use.  Ghost glace is wonderful to use after shaving or on top of any of our ganaches to offer additional moisture.
